What are the requirements to make me eligible to attend a workshop?

There are no academic requirements for participants of any of our workshops.

Are your training programs PSMB - HRDF claimable?

Yes, all our current programs are claimable under individual name ( Train the Trainer).

What is PSMB - HRDF?.

Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad (PSMB) is an organization, dedicated to furthering the education of employees within their specific industry. Human Resource Development Fund (HRDF) was created in order to aid employers to select training programs that would most benefit their employees.

Does my company need to provide a projector and other facilities for an in-house workshop?

We do prefer that you provide your own projector, tables and chairs however alternative arrangements can be made if this is not possible.

If I attend one of your seminars, can my company sponsor me?

Yes, so long as the course is relevant & useful for your career development & contribution to your company.

What are your main training programs?

Our main focus is training within Financial Management and Debt Recovery. Our most requested courses are “An Entrepreneurial Approach to Credit Management and Debt Recovery”, “Cost Reduction & Profit Improvement Strategies”, “Essentials of Budgeting” as well as a number of Financial & Leadership skill development programs.

What is your training methodology?

We use a range of different training techniques to discuss the subject of the program ranging from traditional lecture style sessions to case study exercises. Using role play & reverse role play, as well as 2-way discussions, we greatly enhance the participant’s understanding of the subject matter.

Is there a follow up program after the initial training? We want to monitor the progress of our staff performance.

Yes, we can come in to provide consultancy to cater to your needs. For example, advice on improving Account Receiver & Collection Performance, Setting KPI For Cost Reduction & Profit Improvement.

How old is SL Training & Consultancy?

We started in early 2005 and rebranded the name to SL Training & Consultancy in Feb 2007.

What is your fee for the program?

Fees are on a per client basis. We assess your training needs, no of participants and days required, before discussing the fee for the program.

What is your maximum number of participants?

Preferable 20-25 in order to give maximum focus to the target audience, especially during role-playing and discussion exercises.

Will we receive certificates upon completion of the training program?

Yes, each participant who attends a minimum of 75% of the entire training program will be awarded a certificate of participation.

For what level of management do you conduct training?

All levels from executive to senior management. It is preferable that participants of individual programs are all of the same level to ensure that they all progress at a similar pace.

What is the duration of your training programs?

Each program will usually run for a period of 2 days. However we are flexible & can accommodate for requirements of 1, 2 or 3 days
